Marabou Storks have been playing in the Edinburgh Softball League for around twenty years and are a fine balance of homegrown talent along with a strong collection of locally based North Americans. The motto “never speak to an American or Canadian without asking if they play ball” has been followed quite strictly and allowed a fine array of talent to feature for the team over the years. Of course, many of these players move on and so it is a never ending hunt for fresh players. We always aim to be competitive but never an argumentative word passes our lips…. sure.
