Blog Update

Last night’s action saw the Inglorious Batters come out on top in the big game at the bottom of the Premier Division 23-20 against the Doh’nuts. Could this result mean that Batters have done enough to preserve their Premier Division status?

In D1 the Haar Hitters came through 23-12 winners against the Vandals. They would need results to go their way but this does keep alive their slim title hopes.

Tonight has another couple of crackers as the Souls taking on the Dodgers at the top of the Premier with the Forgers going up against the Demons in D1.

The final league week of the season is here. Still some things to sort out and plenty of action.

Tonight the Doh’nuts take on the Souls in the Premier Division. A loss will see the Doh’nuts relegated. A win and it will be decided by brighter people than me. In D1 the Forgers take on the Haar Hitters with both teams looking for a win before the cup starts next week.

Blog Update

Final results of the week saw the Demons maintain their title hopes with a 30-26 victory over the Laxadaisicals. The math is now easy, a win next week will see them take the title. A defeat will see the Bolts crowded division champs!

In the Premier Division the Storks helped eased their relegation fears with a 38-17 win over the Doh’nuts. Still to tight at the bottom to predict anything with plenty to play for in the final week

Blog Update

Thursday nights games come with massive implications in both divisions. In D1 the Demons will be trying to maintain their title charge against the Laxadaisicals. Nothing but a win will do for them.

In the Premier Division it’s a relegation battle with the Storks taking on the Doh’nuts. Both teams currently sit with the same record so something will have to give!

Blog Update

Another busy night in the ESL with the Dodgers almost securing their runners up spot in the Premier Division with a 23-6 win over the Inglorious Batters. In D1 the Vandals came out on top 16-13 against the Forgers.

Usual Wednesday night off before another 2 make or break games on Thursday.

Blog Update

It’s all over in the Premier Division as the Rally Caps completed their unbeaten league season. Last night they finished with a 18-16 win over the Souls. Will they be able to complete a league and cup double in a couple of weeks?

In D1 the Bolts have laid down the gauntlet by completing their league campaign with a 27-18 win over the Vultures. This gives us straight shoot out between them and the Demons for the title. The Bolts have finished with a 9-3 record meaning the the Demons will have to win their remaining 2 matches.

Tonight the Vandals take on the Forgers in D1 in a match up for position. The Inglorious Batters are up against the Dodgers in the Premier. Again this looks like a game for position as the Batters should have done enough to remain in the Division

Blog Update

Massive night in the ESL. The newly crowed Premier Division champs, the Rally Caps, will be looking to finish their season unbeaten against their old foes, the Souls.

This could be viewed as the biggest game of the night but the D1 game is huge!!!! The Bolts take on the Vultures with both teams having aspirations of the title. This is the Bolts final league game with the Vultures having one more after this. They need to win both for the title but a Bolts win would mean that it’s a shoot out between them and the Demons. 2 weeks to go, 3 teams in with a shout. Exciting times!

Blog Update

I may sound like a broken record but the final action of the week once again has serious implications in both divisions. In D1 the Bolts will be looking to capitalize on the Demons slip up on Tuesday against the Forgers to maintain their pursuit of the title.

In the Premier the battle is once again at the wrong end of the table with the Doh’nuts going up against the Capitals. Both teams will be desperate for a win to ease their relegation worries.

Just once I wish I could advertise a dull mid table game!
